Get Ready: Jesus is Returning!

Instead of arguing about our stance on eschatology, why don’t we focus on preparing for the end times and the return of Jesus?

I read a post recently where Christians were arguing about being pre-tribulation, mid-tribulation, or post-tribulation. 

There was discussion on the word rapture not being in the Bible and the 3 ½ years and 7-year periods. 

We’ve all heard these controversies and have our own interpretation of the Bible and at what point we will be out of here. When will Jesus return and what persecution and disasters we will have to live through and experience?

I’m sure we could all find a way to prove our answers and believe we are right. The fact is there is only one right answer, and when we study out the Scriptures, we will discover the truth about His imminent return.

I’ve studied the book of Revelation in eight different translations. I have a stance and beliefs like all of you.

I’ve got people like you trying to change my opinion and point of view. Therefore, I went out on a search to find what I already knew to be true.

No matter where your stance is one thing I know for sure is that we have to be prepared. Preparation physically, emotionally, and spiritually is going to be the key is maneuvering through the end times no matter when you believe you will or will not be out of here.

Great Destruction is Coming

Prophetically, I see great destruction in our future while we wait for Christ’s return.

I’ve released a couple prophetic words recently about this. I am troubled by what I see. The Lord spoke to me years ago and said, “Kathy, your faith has to be rock solid strong, and you need to learn to trust me. You can’t help other’s in times of persecution, natural disasters, or terrorist attacks if you are in fear.”

 I’ve seen visions of having to go out in the streets and help people. We can’t exude the love and light of Christ if it is not flowing fluently from us.  Preparation spiritually and emotionally by growing in our faith and seeking the deliverance we need will assist us in being Christ daily in every area of our lives, not just in the end times.

We should be prepared now to be a living, breathing testimony every day. Being love and giving love, serving God, and serving people should be the core of who we are and how we are living.

Why just prepare for the end times? Every moment we live, we should be prepared to live for Christ and be prepared to meet our Creator. We never know at what moment we will be transitioned to the next life, therefore, being diligent to always be prepared and growing as close to Jesus as we can is pertinent in our spiritual walk and relationship with the Lord.

‘What Do You Want to be Found Doing at the Point of Christ’s Return?’

We need to be prepared at a moment’s notice. I like to say to people, “What do you want to be found doing at the point of Christ’s return?”

Do you want to be addicted to a computer game, stuck watching pornography, wasting time, or arguing with a loved one, or do you want to be exuding love and releasing the fullness of God to others knowing you have removed your sin and are pressing in to God as much as you can?

Prepping is another controversial topic. While some people stockpile, move to the country, and hide food and ammunition, others walk in faith, believing that God will provide all their needs.

I believe I can call forth food. Why can’t I? He provided manna in the dessert. I do believe we need to seek the Holy Spirit for our special guidelines of what to have on hand.

I remember years ago God instructing me to purchase a generator, crank radio, candles, and have wood, water, and food at my disposal. However, aren’t these also general common-sense items we should have on hand in case of power outages, adverse weather conditions and other things that can happen that would impact our ability to survive and thrive?

Press into the Heart of God

I believe it is time to stop arguing where we stand or where we don’t stand. Most people aren’t going to change their beliefs. We’ll find out when we are in heaven someday who was right and who was wrong, but then will it matter. 

Does it matter now?  What matters is that we pursue unity and peace. What matters is that we press into the heart of God. What matters is that we do our part to present the Gospel and eliminate strife and division. We’ll all know the truth someday, but that day, it will no longer matter.
