We Serve a God of Personal Miracles

Jerry Moses, Assistant to the President at Movieguide, wound up in the hospital at death’s door at age 67 with extreme pancreatitis. After encountering Jesus, he was ‘totally healed’ and given additional time for his mission on Earth. He’s 78 now.

By Jerry Moses, Assistant to the President of Movieguide and Advisor to Battle Ready Ministries

In the morning when I rise, in the morning when I rise, give me Jesus. Give me Jesus, give me Jesus. You may have all this world, just give me Jesus. Dark midnight was my cry, dark midnight was my cry, give me Jesus. Oh, when I come to die, oh, when I come to die, give me Jesus.

It was 11 years ago. I was in critical care at Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, California with extreme pancreatitis. The doctor told me there was nothing they could do.

My father had died of pancreatitis at age 56. I was 67 and was dying. I had been in extreme pain for hours but was now on an IV (intravenous therapy) so the pain was gone.

I am alone in the dark. I feel the very presence of Heaven which is Jesus. Peace and joy fill my soul. All the concerns of this life leave me and joy unspeakable floods my being. I realize I’m standing at the gates of Heaven and my soul is filled with glory.

It was my moment to enter Heaven and see Jesus.

All the concerns of life had left me and was replaced with the wonder of Heaven. Life and all the concerns of the living were gone. My happiness at that moment was beyond human description.

I said, “Lord, I am so glad to be home but if you want me to stay here a little longer, you decide.”

I fell asleep and was woke up in the morning by a nurse who said I was “totally healed,” and that they were going to get me back on food and release me.

My life has since gone on for 11 more years with my next assignment in ministry at Movieguide, which reviews movies from a Christian perspective for families and works in Hollywood to redeem the media, working with those involved with placing family-friendly movies and Christian movies in the theaters.

There is no question that God has a purpose for us on this earth. I will explain how in the words of a song.

‘Put Your Hand in The Hand’

These are the partial lyrics to the inspirational and touching gospel song composed by Gene MacLellan and first recorded by Canadian singer Anne Murray on her third studio album, “Honey, Wheat and Laughter”:

Put your hand in the hand of the man who stilled the water

Put your hand in the hand of the man who calmed the sea

Take a look at yourself and you can look at others differently

By puttin’ your hand in the hand of the man from Galilee

Every time I look into the Holy Book I want to tremble (tremble)

Or when I read about the part where the carpenter cleared the temple

For the buyers and the sellers were no different fellas than what I profess to be

And it causes me shame to know we’re not the people we should be

So, put your hand in the hand of the man who stilled the water

Put your hand in the hand of the man who calmed the sea

Take a look at yourself and you can look at others differently

By puttin’ your hand in the hand of the man from Galilee

My dad lived his life of 56 years with a wife and two children, so you do what you must do to survive, but he showed me enough of what it takes to get you through.

Put your hand in the hand of the man who stilled the water. Put your hand in the hand of the man who calmed the sea. Take a look at yourself and you can look at others differently. By putting your hand in the hand of the man from Galilee.

The Military Guide to Disarming Deception
Time is Running Out. Are you Battle Ready? Prophecy Investigators Founder Troy Anderson and Col. David GIammona’s new book The Military Guide to Disarming Deception will be released August 9.

In Luke 18:27, Jesus said, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”
The Word of God must rise up in our hearts and minds to believe that He is able to help us not only live, but to help us deal with all the necessary things in life—both great and small—and to give us answers, confidence and love in everything we do.

We need an importation of His very life and nature within us. We must have the revelation from the Spirit of God. God is willing to give us all of the things that pertain to a life of godliness, including His blessings, but His love has to dominate us in all we do.

The CBN Miracle – Our Blessed Lord Jesus is Still Healing

When I was working at CBN, driving my car back home from Las Vegas, a woman called me and told me her husband had cancer of the liver and was going to die.

I told her about Psalm 103:2-3: “Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases.”

I said, “Let’s agree to believe this together for your husband’s healing.”

She called me the next day, crying in joy, because her husband had just gone to the hospital for treatment and the cancer was gone. She was asking people in the lobby if she could pray with them for healing.

Our Blessed Lord Jesus is still alive and continues His ministry through those who are filled with His Spirit.

I worked with Benny Hinn, an Israeli Christian televangelist best known for his regular “Miracle Crusades,” and we sang a song by Dottie Rambo, a Grammy winning solo artist and multiple Dove award-winning artist, at the healing meetings. These are the lyrics to, “Holy Spirit, Thou Art Welcome”:

Holy Spirit Thou art welcome in this place
Holy Spirit Thou art welcome in this place
Omnipotent Father of Mercy and Grace
Thou art welcome in this place

Lord in Thy presence there’s healing divine
No other power can save Lord, but Thine
Holy Spirit Thou art welcome in this place
Thou art welcome in this place

Holy Spirit Thou art welcome in this place
Holy Spirit Thou art welcome in this place
Omnipotent Father of Mercy and Grace
Thou art welcome in this place

Fill all the hungry and empty within
Restore us, oh Father revive us again
Holy Spirit Thou art welcome in this place
Holy Spirit Thou art welcome in this place

May the Holy Spirit come in greater power in all our lives. He is like receiving a gift; you do not know that you have it until you ask in faith. As you ask, believe.

I feel the presence of Heaven stronger each day. I feel the Glory of the Presence of Jesus waiting for me to come home, so this is from Jesus to me to you!

From Jesus to You! God and the Angels See the Movie of Our Lives

We can picture our lives as a movie running on the movie screen day after day after day. God and the angels of heaven see our lives; it is filled with drama, crying, weeping, laughing, and rejoicing.

So, all we can do is pray every day for God’s intervention in the days of our lives.

I close with the words of a song that was popular back in the 1970s. My life has run the gamut of 78 years, from 1944 to 2022, from a village of 250 people in the Allegheny Mountains to Hollywood, California. Let’s sing and pray this song together:

Day by day, and with each passing moment, Strength I find to meet my trails here; Trusting in my Father’s wise bestowment, I’ve no cause for work or for fear. He whose heart is kind beyond all measure gives unto each day what He deems best- lovingly, it’s part of pain and pleasures, mingling toil with peace and rest.

Every day, the Lord Himself is near me with a special mercy for each hour; All my cares He fain would bear, and cheer me, He whose name is Counselor and Pow’r. The protection of His child and treasure is a charge that on Himself He laid; “As thy days, their strength shall be in measure.” This the pledge to me He made.

Help me then in every tribulation so to trust Thy promises, O Lord, that I lose not faith’s sweet consolation offered me within Thy Holy Word, help me, Lord, when toil and trouble meeting; E’er to take as from a father’s hand one by one, the days, the moments fleeting, till I reach the promised  land.

So day by day, Oh, dear Lord, three things I pray to see thee more clearly love thee, see thee dearly, follow thee more nearly, day by day, day by day!
